The EH-MSc will provide a high-level scientific education by a curriculum reflecting national needs/priorities, closely aligned with the interests of the National Health System. The program will offer high-quality facilities and vast opportunities to participate in ISAMB’s R&D, emphasizing the scientific, technological, policy and management skills needed to address EOH issues.
The course will enable students to gain knowledge, adequate skills and core competencies in the EH domain, to handle related complex problems, go on to a PhD program, or embrace a carrier in a range of rapidly developing professions of this exciting and quite new area. On completion, they will be ready to apply knowledge/skills in a variety of contexts that extend from disease prevention, Environmental Health promotion/protection and workplace wellbeing, to innovative initiatives to explore the environment on the benefit of health, in particular within social enterprises and SME businesses.
The curriculum of the EH-MSc teaching component will consist, as much as possible, of the advanced training component of the first year of EnviHealth&Co, giving the students an Advanced Studies Diploma in Environmental Health and/or Occupational Health, according to the selected elective courses or modules.
